Using ATourOf

By creating an account, signing in or otherwise using ATourOf you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please don’t use the service.

Accounts

You must be 18 or older to create an account. You can sign in with an emailed link or with Google. Keep access to your email and Google account secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Provide accurate information, and choose the account type that fits you. Only people authorized to act for a business may claim or manage its contractor profile.

Contractor profiles and content

Some contractor profiles and found projects are assembled from public business information. Contractors can claim their profile to correct it, approve or remove found projects, and add their own work.

When you submit project information, photos or costs, you confirm you have the right to do so and you give ATourOf permission to store, process and analyze it to run the service, and to display it publicly only where you allow public display. You keep ownership of your content.

Copyright and takedown requests

If you believe something on ATourOf infringes your copyright, including a photo of your work, email our designated copyright agent at hello@atourof.com with the subject “Copyright notice”, or write to ATourOf, Attn: Copyright Agent, 650 California St Ste 700, San Francisco, CA 94108. Include your contact details, the work you own, the link to the material on ATourOf, a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner, and your physical or electronic signature.

We remove or disable the material promptly and tell whoever posted it. If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. We close the accounts of repeat infringers.

A business that doesn’t want its profile or photos on ATourOf can ask us to remove them at any time, copyright claim or not, using the “Remove my profile” link in our emails or the address above.

API and AI access

API keys and the remodeler MCP server are for your own business’s use. Keep keys secret, don’t share or resell access, and don’t use ATourOf to scrape, overload or reverse-engineer the service.

Acceptable use

Don’t submit false, infringing or unlawful content, impersonate a business or person, send spam through ATourOf, or try to access accounts or data that aren’t yours.

Estimates are not bids

ATourOf ranges, comparable projects and benchmarks are informational. They are not contractor bids, appraisals, guarantees or substitutes for an on-site assessment. Remodeling costs change with concealed conditions, code requirements, structural issues, labor and product availability, and other facts not visible in a project record.

Contractors and homeowners

ATourOf does not employ, endorse or guarantee any contractor and is not a party to agreements between homeowners and contractors. Check licenses, insurance and references before hiring.

Disclaimers and liability

ATourOf is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, ATourOf is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions made from information on the site.

Suspension and changes

We may suspend accounts that break these terms. You can stop using ATourOf at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may update these terms and will revise the date above when we do.
